August 30 LucKY in GaMEs UnLucKY in CarS Since I've been in US for almost 6 yrs, I've changed so many cars. Not that Im rich but my cars were too old
to drive across the state. It would've been broken down in the middle of nowhere and some native americans
might wanna use me as their dinner.
My first car was a Ford Bronco, 1986. I paid for it only a $1000. It broke down in 2 months. I remembered
exactly what happenned, I went to pick up friends at LAX and took them sightseeing. On my way to
Rodeo Dr. I smelled sth burnt. It just broke down right there in the middle of Rodeo Dr., the coolest place
on earth. I spent around another $1000 to fix it but unfortunately he was too tired to run. May he rest in piece....
MY second car was a Toyota Corolla, 1989. I spent about $2000. There wasnt any real problem with this car.
I sold it about $1500 , so wasnt bad for driving for a year.
The third one was Honda Accord 1998. It cost me only $8000. I got it from my cousin. There was no problem at
all for this one only except one thing. Before 1 week I went back to Tland, I got into a car accident. I was waiting
at the light and I heard a screeching from the back and then BAM!!!!! He whacked into my rear bumper. I ended
up getting nothing from him. I paid about a $1000 to fix it and sold it only $7000.
A Volvo Station wagon 1986 was my forth. I got it for $500 and the first time I drove it died on a highway.
I drove for about 6 months and sold it about the same price. I gotta say this car is one of my favorite car to drive.
The fifth was Mitsubishi Eclispe 1993. I bought it in Seattle and right when I was goin to sell it someone
smacked my rear window with a bottle of Bombay. So I swore to myself I'd never drink a Bombay ever.
The one Im driving right now is Misubishi Diamante 1999. It's been good so far. There is a little bit of
problems but should be ok. Hopefully it will last for at least 3 yrs. August 27 cHaoTIc LiFeAs I recall, I've been living in US since year 2000 I moved to new places for 11 times if Im not mistake.
1st moved from Tland to Burbank, CA 2000
2nd from Burbank to Tarzana, CA
3rd from Tarzana to Santa Monica, CA 2001
4th moved back to Tarzana again
5th moved across the street
6th moved to the end of the street
7th flew across country to east coast, Seekonk, MA 2003
8th stayed at Lake Geneva, WI for 3 months 2004
9th ended up in a church in Seattle, WA 2004
10th had to move to First hill, Seattle, WA
11th the first time came back to the same place Providence, RI 2005
I dont know why I moved so many times. I might have been bored.
I dont think anyone can beat me for moving around like these.
Yet, Im still thinking about moving again.
It's not like I dont wanna settle down, I really do but I feel like Im stuck.
It's kinda wounding my soul and somehow losing my passion.......
I hope I can sort things out soon.....
or
maybe the reason I moved way too many times was I ran away from problems......
was I a coward or a challanger??????
Im really tired ....pls come back soon
August 24 RoAD 2 dA US OpEn aka StaLKiNG MiChEllE WeI I don't like golf and never like to watch it on tv. But my roommate made me watched it sometime,
eventually I will fall asleep in 10 mins. My friend is sooo crazy in love with Michelle Wei so I heard about her
quite a bit. Fortunately they organized a US open tournament in New Port, about an hour where I live.
So he got me a ticket and forced me to go watch the game or actually to see Michelle Wei in person.
Our goal was to follow (or to stalk) her to every hole and hopefully she'd notice us and give us a hug.
It was raining when we got there but not a problem for professional stalkers. We were so ready to find her.
I looked up on a schedule board to find where she tee off. All of a sudden, I felt so excited to see a long long name
on a board. I knew right away that there was a thai girl in this tournament. My goal has shifted from stalking Michelle to
this thai girl. I followed her for a couple holes and I think I might have scared her that's why she didnt do well in this
tournament.
Michelle is famous from being a powerful hitter plus the way she looks as well. After watched her for a while,
I really got bored and I wanted to go home. A golf game is still pretty boring for me
even Michelle couldn't make it more exciting. We didnt get a hug or an autograph like we expected
but we saw her changing clothe and that was all we needed........
p.s. the old lady might have screamed in her head " !!!!!shut up!!!!!"
August 23 It'S ALwaYS SUnnY In PhILlaDElpHiA There's a train at the Philadelphia international
airport that will take people to downtown. A train usually arrives
at 11min after the hour and 41 min after an hour.
Then get off a train at Pennsylvania convention center.
Best way to get around downtown Philly is taking a PHLASH bus.
It will cost only a dollar or $4 a day which is really worth it.
At Eakins Oval, in front of a museum of art
where Rocky ran like a maniac before he
became a champion. It is one of the coolest museum in USA,
cost only $20 and then spend all day inside.
Mr. thinking way too much is sitting outside of the Rodin museum, the must see museum.
What'd he thinking?..my guess is .. a stripper. Before enter to a museum there is another
interesting piece of art, The Gates Of Hell, it kinda give out a creepy feeling.
The best place to dine in or nightlife party is around old city, 3rd and market st.
One of the best place is Cuba Libre restaurant. One of their famous dishes is baby back ribs.
They are tender, moist, juicy, just like we need in a girl......... |
